I am a contemporary artist specialising in portraits and figurative pieces. I work predominantly in oil paint, enjoying the diverse possibilities it offers, and strive to balance expressive brushwork with accurate representation.
I love to explore the stories of my sitters and aim to capture their unique character as well as a strong likeness. My goal is to create portraits that resonate on a personal level, inviting the viewer to reflect on their own experiences and emotions. Each piece is a window into our shared human experience, and a reminder we all have stories worth telling.
Based in my home studio in East Devon, I work mainly from photos and zoom sessions on commissioned pieces as well as my own personal work.
